Books The Kingdom of Us is the first volume of  the trilogy iThe Polarix Project. In a near future the Lord and his Legion of winged creatures has come to establish his Kingdom, after a bloody war fought around the Holy City. After the Final Battle, the Renegades army surrendered, defeated by the Alliance of the Believers and the Holy City was renamed the Divine City. The Kingdom took over the entire planet. The One Church is the only faith allowed. The Conference of the Archbishops  rules through the Ministry of the Church and its Secret Service. The Ministry of Science developed the Umbrella, a neural telepathic network connecting every human mind with the Lord. The Heavenly Guard polices the Kingdom and the Crime Protection Unit is in charge of protecting the Umbrella. whcih provides services like remote visual communication through the Intercom program, browsing the Global Net of Information, looking for early symptoms of deseases with the Diagnostic programs and watching over the Kingdom with the Security and Search programs. The  Wireless Energy Grid, based on the magnetic fields of the planet, provides unlimited free electricity that moves everything, including the Personal Transportation Units. The Health Care System takes care of every subject in a net of modern medical facilities including the Rehabilation Camps, where the humna brain can be rebooted, memories manipulated and new identities created from scratch. The Universal Welfare Program eliminated the poverty from every single corner of the planet. The people are happy and engaged in the enviromental recycling programs. However, there are some that have questions. The Questioners belong to the Cell, a clandestine organization which supports the Hackerss, a group of outlaws living outside the Umbrella, under the protection of the Zone, a mythical place near the Old City where the Security programs cannot reach. A mysterious crime in the Seminar involve Martin, the Chief Inspector of the Crime Protection unit in the  Old City. A winged creature called Friend and the Professor, an old friend of his family, are warning him of the danger behind the true Kingdom. The Servants of the Temple and the Voice are secretly undermining the Church. They want to exterminate the Hackers. They want to restore the old fanatic faith in the Lord replacing the pragmatic approach of the Unavoidable Truth, the ideology created by the Professor and which helped the Alliance to turn over most of the old Renegades, now called the Confused Ones.
The Hackers need to take down the Umbrella in the Old City before starting a real uprisiong agaisnt the Kingdom. There is a legend about someone called the Warrior who would have the power to do that. Friiend and the Professor want Martin to find  and protect the Warrior, who is very weak just after  the awakening. The Servants and the Ministry of the Church are also looking for the dangerous Warrior.They need to destroy it.
