The City of the Lost Dream                                                  Books

In the Kingfom of the  Everlasting Happiness everything is about to change...

The island city has been isolated from the rest of the world since the old King Anaximander took the power leading a rebelion against a dictaror who was a close friend of the greedy rulers from the realms beyond the sea. But the King grew older and became sick. He saw enemy spies everywhere. He built the Electric Fence which divided Lower Town from Villa Sol, the place where the White Guards and the Servants of the Palace lived in nice houses around the Royal Hill. One day, the Crazy Doctor convinced the King to let him freeze his body until a cure was found...

The Crown Prince Leopold was under age then and his stepmotherr, the Queen Ana Cristina, was apointed by the Council of Ministers the Regent Consultant until the young boy would be eighteen years old.

After the King was frozen and the Queen became the Regent, nothing really changed in the Kingdom. With no commerce with abroad and the economy in crisis, Lower Town and the people of the city started to suffer a constant degradation. The buildings were falling appart, no food, clothes or medicines could be found anywhere except in the Black Market, supplied by the Grey Merchnats who traveled to the realms beyond the sea to bring merchandise following exclusive requests from the Palace.
In Lower Town, the Nasty and her gang of orphan kids and street fighters were preparing a revolt against the Palace. The Queen wanted the absolute power and she had a secret weapon which only the Angel of the Tow Faces knew about it. But she was not the only one with secrets in the Kingdom, the Toymaker, a genius who made artefacts for the Palace, and his friend the Lady of the Winds were willing to help the Nasty in the battle. The Prince suddenly dissapeared. The Palace was preparing for an invasion and the Nasty was getting ready to defend Lower Town until her man last standing.
The  Queen Regent Ana Cristina del Pillar is always together with her Floating Head, an artefact built by the Toymaker which serves two purposes, first, it's a computer that processes billions of instructions per millisecond and helps the Queen in taking the most important decisions, and secondly, it's also a spiritual vessel for her Majesty to communicate with the Angel of the Two Faces, the deity protector of the people of the city. The Jumper is one of the Panthers, the closest friend of the Nasty. She was sent by the Nasty to explore the workshop where theToymaker keeps his artefacts. The Toymaker loaned her a balllerina costume. She  later becomes the personal bodyguard of the Prince in his quest to get back to the Palace after a nasty encounter with the Nasty that night in Lower Town.
The Toymaker is a genius who makes sophisticated artefacts for the Palace. He lives and works in his workshop, located inside the ruins of a crumbling down building in Lower Town, near the Riverbank Gate. He has a special friend, a Talking Dog called Marty and his only other friendin the city is the Lady of the Winds. The Lady of the Winds is a friend of the Nasty too. She is a lovely lady with important contacts  in Villa Sol and in the Palace. She is one of the few people allowed to cross freely the Electric Fence, also called the Border, dividing Villa Sol from Lower Town. She is also a good friend of the Visitor, the only foreign tourist in the entire Kingdom.
